The VIQUA PRO24-100 is an ultraviolet (UV) system for small public water systems such as churches, schools, camps, restaurants, bed and breakfasts and farms. It is third-party validated for 2-log adenovirus (virus) inactivation at an applied UV dose of 100 mJ/cm², which helps owners comply with the Ground Water Rule and LT2 regulations.
Validated flow depends on the water’s UV transmittance (UVT): up to 24 gpm (91 lpm) at 95% UVT and progressively less at lower UVT, down to about 10 gpm at 75%. A stepped dose alarm and the included COMMcenter display show and record the real-time UV dose and flow, which helps with the monitoring and reporting small systems need.
It uses an ultra-high-output amalgam lamp rated for up to two years in a 316L stainless steel chamber with a CoolTouch fan. VIQUA states it inactivates Cryptosporidium, Giardia and adenovirus. The chamber must be installed vertically.

Maintenance
Replace the 602856 UV lamp every two years (18,000 hours). Inspect and clean the 602976 quartz sleeve at each lamp change and replace it if it cannot be cleaned. The 602850-103 kit supplies both.
